An open process of participation     During the school’s summer festival, parents and other visitors were given the chance to become acquainted with the models, drawings, and photo montages developed from the atmospheric “Light Fictions” by the Baupiloten and the school’s students acting as client. For this phase of the project, a wider spectrum of ideas was presented in order to allow the observers to consider and decide for themselves which designs they liked best. In the discussions that ensued, the visitors expressed a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm for the participative process and the resulting creativity and variety of design approaches. We were able to gather valuable feedback regarding our ideas, the spirit of the school, and the atmospheres of the designs.
