| The transformation of an office building into a school with a cheerful atmosphere
Anonymous waiting rooms and drab offices were transformed into learning and activity spaces, as well as common areas for students.
From the elevator, one enters into a green indoor garden full of plants and pictures. Together with the neighboring activity area,
the garden is the modern equivalent of a classical school yard. The Familienservice’s new school grows together with its students.
All of the school’s installations have a modular design and can be expanded, divided, or newly arranged. This provides each room with an individual function, program, and character. Start of Planning February 2009, Completion August 2009 |

The 15 different modules can be decorated, inhabited, climbed through
or used as play objects. Individual parts of the separation walls also
find themselves in use as chairs, tunnels, or tables ... No limits are set for the children’s imagination. |
