The Light Flower     is a sensuous effect, being generated by sunlight, irradiating directly through the roof lights. The patterned surfaces of the functional arms colour the daylight before it hits the floor. Consequently pixel-like reflections move on the floor and through the room during the run of the day. The Light Flower blossoms out from mid April to the end of August. At midsommer it bursts into its full bloom and slowly fades out again afterwards. The play of light produces a strong correlation between floor and ceiling and puts on a sensuous spectacle of spatial experience.
