Participation and identification     Under the guidance of their carers the children between the age of two and eleven painted their fantastical, imaginative interpretations of a Tree of Dreams. The older children were so enthusiastic to bring in their ideas that they even built small trees on which to hang their dreams. The children were also involved in the ongoing design process: in several presentations both the carers and the children had the opportunity to comment on the promising architectures, show their preferences and finally choose their favourites.
