Children know what it is they like and want.         The transformative potential of the realms of the their imagination was investigated by the Baupiloten in several interactive sessions: four groups of pupils between the ages of eight and thirteen collected their ideas about one of the four elements “earth, fire, water and air” in descriptive collages. The pupils’ desires were absorbed into the design process: The Baupiloten took on the children’s impressions to develop sensuous qualities of the four elements with the help of models, touch stones and photographic experiments, which will be again tested and modified in a game-like workshop by the children.
